Description:
We are looking for a skilled Lead C++ Developer to join GlobalLogic! Our team supports one of the biggest European Automotive OEMs in the design and development of embedded software for the electronic control units of cars, as well as related frameworks and tools.
We work in areas of remote software update, telematics & connectivity, context-aware systems, and application platforms. We are responsible for the development, integration, and validation of multiple Middleware applications and services for the current and the next-generation car lines. Our team follows modern development methodologies and tools like continuous integration, agile development and test automation to design and implement innovative and high-quality software.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of proven project experience in software engineering
- Professional experience as an embedded middleware developer
- Expert knowledge of C and C++ (11/14/17 standard)
- Expert knowledge of CMake and Python
- Great experience with development for embedded Linux
- Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, and Gerrit
- Familiarity and experience with Agile SCRUM or Kanban and Jira
- Very good English (both spoken and written)
- Experience with software development for the automotive industry – nice to have
- Experience with DLT tool/daemon and QT – nice to have
- Experience with Yocto, QNX, Gtest, GMock, Zuul, Bazel – nice to have
- Developer experience with LINUX security topics – nice to have
- Readiness to work hybrid (the majority of work might be done remotely but not all) – nice to have
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and development of new features and services
- Participate in the analysis, diagnosis and troubleshooting of SW issues
- Maintain and enhance the existing codebase and platform
- Test and validate functionality using simulations, stubs and real hardware
- Work in an Agile Scum or Kanban environment with other team members
- Support management with selected development-specific tasks
