Description:
We develop a POS solution that allows providing attended (employee) and unattended (customer) tunnel car washing service.
There are two labs:
– One in the USA
– One in Ukraine (Lviv)
Hardware Solution includes several points of sale(POS), different sensors, readers and cameras, payment terminals, servers, and automatic gates.
The solution supports both USA and Canadian markets. Ukrainian teams develop a PWA(web) application and a hybrid web application (.Net & Angular) that operates on hardware & cloud and supports full customer flow: from customer recognition or account creation to sale & directing their car to a tunnel, reporting, etc. All embedded development is on the client’s side.
Project count ~70 teammates: 4 Feature teams, 2 AQA teams, Performance improvements team, DevOps team, L3 support team, QA Lead, Release manager, 2x Scrum masters, Senior manager
Some teams have hardware dependency based on the areas of the application they work with, for them office attendance is necessary.
The project is in active development with 80+% work related to new feature development. The project age is 3 years, with 2 of it in production.
The client has huge plans for 2023 so you have a chance to become a part of the big success.
The team you’ll be interviewing is created from scratch and will consist of Romanian, Slovakian and Ukrainian teammates.
Flow
True SCRUM. Story points, Product owner, Scrum master, and Sprints include mandatory daily stand-ups, grooming, planning, demo, and retro sessions.
2-week sprints, releases strictly every 3 weeks, updates on demand.
Only agreed and paid overtime. Limited control from the Management team. Teams are fully self-manageable. No rushing or delivering work ASAP.
Limited communication and control from the client side.
Team Goals
The new team aimed to create an HW simulator to allow running the application in any virtual environment without the need to have real hardware wired/attached to it.
This will allow us to:
– perform remote manual testing;
– improve test automation of all system end-to-end scenarios;
– save a significant amount of time and resources.
Your team Composition
Product owner, Team lead, 2x Senior .Net engineer, 2x Middle .Net engineer, 2x Manual QA
Requirements:
- Strong .NET Core knowledge, MVC.NET, MS SQL
- Good knowledge of software-oriented architecture, micro-services
- Good analytical skills, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Upper-Intermediate English skills
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- 3+ years of experience
Would be a plus:
- Experience in payment systems development
- Experience in Azure Cloud
- Experience with Hardware-related projects(.NET only)
- Knowledge of Networking
- Good angular/FE knowledge
- Good HTML5/CSS/JS
Job Responsibilities:
- Working in a multinational Scrum Team
- Performing requirements analysis, application development, product configuration, unit, and system testing, and production deployment within the framework of the infrastructure;
- Cross-team communication and cooperation;
