Requirements

Bachelor’s or Masters degree in an appropriate engineering field is required.
5+ years experience with professional native Android app development.
Expert in Android architecture and mobile application design patterns.
Experienced in developing customer-facing, commercial Android applications using Kotlin or Java.
Deep understanding of Android frameworks and components, along with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Knowledgeable in consuming RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Exceptional Object-Oriented (OO) design and development skills.
Experience with HTTP and RESTful web services.
Fundamental understanding of the HTTP protocol, REST, and mobile databases.
A proven track record of high productivity in application development, architecture, design, coding, and debugging.
Understand mobile performance, latency, and security issues with experience using performance analysis tools.
Knowledgeable of security best practices for mobile application development and integration.
In-depth knowledge of current technological trends, developments, and best practices in mobile technologies, information security, and wireless network architecture.
Good communication and collaboration skills.

Job responsibilities

Design and develop high-quality native Android applications.
Write clear, concise, and well-documented code.
Provide helpful feedback during code reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
Construct, enhance, and troubleshoot native Android applications.
Implement complex new features and functionality, as well as build applications end-to-end.
Ensure applications meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
