Description:
Work closely with PLM Lead to gather/elicit information from various sources including tribal knowledge, document them and review with stakeholders. Responsible for the collection, analysis, and documentation of PLM related business and/or technical requirements, which may include, but is not limited to: participating in planning sessions with cross-functional teams to improve business processes, conducting background research, and taking initiative to close any gaps.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Document Controller or PLM system analyst/administrator. Arena PLM experience preferred.

Advanced knowledge of Excel required along with expertise with data and creating formulas/macros.

Strong communication skills to help bridge process and terminology gaps.

Excellent commitment to data quality and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently without significant direct supervision.
Job Responsibilities:

As a PLM you will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of existing PLM data and processes, and translating them into flowcharts, work instructions and SOPs. These will include PLM system maintenance activities, engineering BOM and change management processes, user access roles and privileges, supplier list and pertaining business processes spanning cross functional teams.

Work with the PLM team members and cross-functional teams including Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Regulatory, Planning, and Business System teams to audit current PLM data and processes for standards, accuracy and consistency.

Strategize and perform mass data scrub and cleanup/update when required after stakeholders’ review. This includes collaborating with business teams to ensure proper data is available and formatted correctly for migration.

Develop best practices, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities.

Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements and guidelines for all migrated data.
