Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong experience with data mining/data analysis methods, building and implementing models, and using/creating algorithms
- Proficiency with SQL
- Knowledge of Database Management Systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Proficiency with scientific programming in Python (e.g., Numpy, Scipy, Scikit-learn, Pandas)
- Experience with functional programming in Scala
- Experience in at least one of the main Big Data frameworks and platforms (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow)
- Proficiency with software engineering principles
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to work within a team and with a proactive attitude
- Ability to communicate in English
Nice to have:
- Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or equivalent experience.
- Previous automotive experience
- Knowledge of Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Kibana, Grafana)
- Proficiency with CI/CD topics
- Familiarity with the Agile/Scrum Framework
Job Responsibilities:
- Designing data models
- Building, developing and testing ELT/ETL processes
- Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
- Defining and computing KPIs
- Designing data visualization dashboards
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
- Analyzing large amounts of vehicle data to discover trends and patterns
- Writing and refactoring code into reusable libraries, APIs, and tools for clear, efficient, tested and high-quality code.
- Supporting business analytics initiatives across cross-departments
