Job Responsibilities:

 Play a lead role in all aspects of database management including installation, patching,
backup, recovery, performance, tuning, security, and space management 
 Maintain and Optimize functions, procedures, database queries, indexes, statistics 
 Ensuring database integrity 
 Implementing/maintaining database-related monitoring and alerting 
 Analyze logs, and metrics, to find improvements to implement 
 Work closely with both the Cloud Operations team and the R&D teams to support them in
optimizing the different product modules
 Discuss complex database challenges closely with the development teams 
 Monitor and create database performance tests, making sure they stay on great levels 
 Continuously improve the way we work

Tasks: 

SQL Operations
Quarterly SQL Server Maintenance (Patching, Updates, etc.)
Backup Management
Monitoring & Alerts
Scaling — IOPS, RAM, Size, etc.
Disk Usage, CPU, Index, Blocked Queries
Integrations: Datadog & PagerDuty
Growth – Provisioning / Scaling
Configuration Monitoring and Control
Encryption
