About us
Our client’s Infotainment system is based on Android Automotive. They work in close collaboration with Google and other major technology providers. Leaving traditional automotive competition behind, our client is now a truly software driven company.
Within the department engaged and agile development teams build the development- and software production environment (CI) for the product developers. The product consists of e.g. the Android platform, Android Automotive Apps, Audio, Connectivity, Driver Information, Entertainment, Personalization and Vehicle Functions (e.g. climate control).
Requirements
We believe that you have a MSc. or BSc. in a relevant academic field. You are very familiar with Python. You have an extensive understanding of the needs of software developers and have worked with large scale CI operations for many years.
It is very beneficial if you have been working with Android based CI systems.
You are a quick learner and do not hesitate to apply new tools or techniques. You solve problems with creativity, collaboration, and skilful application of various technologies. You prefer working in a team, putting the needs of the team and the team success above your own need to shine – you are a team player. Feedback is something that you value to both receive and share with others.

Job responsibilities
About the role, Software Developer – CI /DevOps Connectivity
As a software developer, working within one of our client’s CI/DevOps teams, you develop and maintain the code flow and test pipelines. This includes development of flexible, maintainable, and scalable solutions to support the Infotainment roadmap and relentless work to improve our CI architecture and stability. This is mainly done by automating activities using Python. Within your team and with our development teams, you will engage in discussions about how to implement new and innovative ideas to improve the developer’s experience of the client’s Infotainment system.
The team’s operations involve a multitude of technologies and tools. The following list is non-exhaustive: Airflow, Jenkins, GIT/Gerrit, Artifactory, SonarQube, FossID, Azure, GCP, onprem CI lab with HW, Python, Bash, Groovy, Linux, Ansible, Terraform, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes…
Your work base location will be Lindholmen in Gothenburg.
If selected, you’ll become a permanent employee with GlobalLogic, but this particular assignment is time limited, replacing a team member on parental leave. By the end of this assignment our goal is to have another assignment ready for you to transition to.
