Job Description:
• Software Engineering Management
• Good understanding of Overall Code Development and Configuration Mgmt process
• Understanding Functional and Nonfunctional Requirements of Projects
• Understanding of Engineering and Quality Metrics in some details
• Understanding of Digital and Product Development Life Cycle.
• Overall understanding of Digital Technology Stack: Cloud, Devops, Data Analytics/BigData/AI ML, Rich UI, Mobile UI, SPA (JavaScript++) – at least 2 of them

• Program/Project Management
• Perform periodic project reviews and identify & manage risks areas and issues
• Help with implementation of standard project management practices. Review project plans, budget, quality standards, deliverables and dependencies
• Identify high risk projects and guide the project management team in implementing the right processes
• Drive Innovation and Continuous Improvement plans
• Assume responsibilities for Delivery, Revenue and Margin targets as established
• Strive for continuous excellence in delivery following standard delivery execution models – for both support / maintenance and development engagements.
• Must be able to work across distributed teams
• Ability to understand and drive Product Engineering work in AGILE framework

• Enable Business Growth
• Business growth acumen, and Support with client stakeholders for business opportunities and expansion
• Demand creation & assessment, and work with internal teams for fulfillment
• Oversight for Resource Demand and Supply Management , working closely with recruitment teams
• New Project Intake: Liaison with the Customer to understand new and upcoming Projects

 

Requirements:

• Engineering degree from reputed educational Institution in Computer Science or equivalent
• 12+ years of experience with at least 3 yrs.+ as Client Partner & Program Management
• Should have managed large Enterprise IT Services programs (35+ people) in Product Engineering space.
• Experience in dealing with large clients; ability to interface with and present to Director / Sr. VP
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and SLAs.
• Experience with globally distributed teams in outsourcing environment
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, IT Service operations, business process realignment and the financial and political elements of an IT organization.
• Must have experience in managing AGILE projects / programs in PE.
• Technical acumen in Key Core Technologies (Java / .Net / Mobility, Cloud, Devops & Data) would be a big plus, to drive the teams.
• Should be able to lead from front and coach
• Successful in partnering and collaborating with client & cross-functional teams to enable solutions
• Demonstrated ability on business expansion and client relationship building
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
