Description

We are looking for an experienced Architect – Messaging & Collaboration to join our Enterprise Collaboration team and drive the continuous evolution of Microsoft 365 services delivered to our customers.

In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor and architect, translating business and customer requirements into scalable, production-ready collaboration and messaging solutions. You will take ownership of architecture design, migration strategies, automation concepts, and technical governance across modern Microsoft 365 environments.

This position combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing consulting responsibilities and technical leadership throughout the full solution lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience in designing enterprise collaboration and messaging solutions.
  • Professional experience in different mail migration scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Exchange migration projects, including hybrid environments.
  • Deep technical knowledge of:
    – Microsoft 365
    – Exchange Online & Exchange On-Premises
    – Azure
    – PowerShell
    – Hybrid Infrastructure
    – IP networking protocols
  • Experience with automation and scripting in enterprise environments.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles and complex network environments.
  • Experience with MS Visio and architecture documentation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within international teams.

  • ITIL® Foundation
  • Experience with software development concepts
  • German language skills

Job responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the Azure Automation Framework, including maintenance, further development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Design and develop enterprise-grade Microsoft 365 Messaging & Collaboration solutions in close cooperation with internal stakeholders and customer teams.
  • Lead technical solution discussions and provide architectural guidance for Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Design migration strategies and coexistence scenarios for Exchange Online and hybrid messaging infrastructures.
  • Create architecture documentation, technical blueprints, and solution designs using MS Visio and related tools.
  • Define use cases, technical standards, and operational concepts for collaboration services.
  • Translate customer requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions.
  • Support implementation teams by providing technical leadership and architectural oversight.
  • Develop automation scripts and configuration concepts using PowerShell and Azure technologies.
  • Continuously evaluate new Microsoft 365 services and features, providing strategic recommendations to improve customers’ cloud and collaboration journey.
  • Ensure smooth transition of designed solutions into operational documentation and implementation frameworks.
