Description

Successfull candidate will be working for one of the financial organizations of Globallogic portfolio.

We are looking for an AWS Solution Architect who could join our team, tightly integrated with the Customer and empowered for business and technical decisions. The successful candidate will be joining an international Scrum team.

You will be part of a distributed, cross-functional team. 

Requirements

• Extensive understanding of cloud, networking, and integration technologies, with specialism on AWS.
• Solid experience in Terraform.
• Solid experience in Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of the AWS Security and Reliability pillars from the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Experienced in IaC such as Cloud Formation and Terraform to automate AWS environment creation.
• Experience in automate solutions using Linux shell and other scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, etc.
• Experience in writing Cloud Formation Templates and Terraform Templates.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development, coding, programming, deployment and O&M experience.
• English at an advanced level (read/written/spoken). Ability to take part in day-to-day communication and lead a conversation with other stakeholders.

 

Nice to have:

• AWS certification – architect.
• Previous experience of Security design and controls that would be a plus.

Job responsibilities

• Work closely with Client’s solution architects to understand their business requirements and design customised solutions using AWS services and technologies.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure AWS solutions, utilising best practices and industry standards.
• Keep cloud environments secure and prevent downtime or security breaches.
• Determine the risk associated with third-party platforms or frameworks.
• Keep up to date on best practices in cloud computing and making improvements to the cloud infrastructure of their company or organization.
• Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the management team.
