Note: GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed hybrid in San Antonio, TX is $130,000 – $140,000 and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.

 

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data  Lead / Anchor to oversee the end-to-end strategy, design, and execution of large-scale Client Data Platforms. This role is responsible for transforming complex business requirements into scalable data products that serve as a “Single Source of Truth” for enterprise ecosystems. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical mastery in cloud-native data engineering and executive-level stakeholder management.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Technical SkillsExperience:

10+ years of experience in software analysis, design, development, and delivery management. Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Financial Services, Wealth Management, Retail, or Healthcare sectors. Cloud & ETL Stack: Proficiency in AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda), Airflow, DBT, and Informatica. CI/CD Tools: Expert-level use of GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and automated deployment techniques. Databases: Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Aurora, and Oracle. Leadership: Proven track record in Project Management, Release Management, and mentoring high-performing technical teams.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Data Delivery & Program Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end data delivery for high-volume Operational Data Stores (ODS) and Master Data Management (MDM) hubs.
• Act as the primary Data Anchor, owning project deliverables from initial discovery and requirements through implementation and business validation.
• Oversee the strategic decoupling and migration of data from legacy third-party record keepers to modern cloud-native architectures.

 

Technical Architecture & Governance

• Design and approve complex data models and mapping documents to ensure scalability, maintainability, and enterprise standard compliance.
• Establish robust Data Quality frameworks, including reconciliation checks, validation rules, and automated control frameworks.
• Lead the migration of legacy data systems into centralized Data Lakehouse environments.
