We are seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect (senior level engineering manager, AI Focus) to lead the engineering execution and technical governance of the AI-driven project — a set of purpose built AI agents for industrial equipment maintenance and management.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned solutions architect and senior technical leader with proven experience in managing cross-functional engineering teams (backend, frontend, data, DevOps, and AI/ML), driving platform-level architecture decisions, and ensuring technical alignment across multiple stakeholders (including vendors, partners) and serving as the final authority on all major design and technical trade-off.
This role combines technical leadership, delivery management, and business alignment — balancing strategic direction, engineering excellence, and predictable delivery in a highly dynamic multi-vendor environment.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery Excellence: Drive the execution of the product roadmap, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery across multiple workstreams (data ingestion, backend, frontend, ML integration, UX). Establish strong coordination with Product, Architecture, and DevOps leads.
Architecture Leadership & System Design: Define and own Platform Architecture, serve as the Enterprise Architect, designing and owning the core platform blueprint for scalability, security, and performance across the organization. This includes definitive decision-making on component selection, cloud topology and deployment model (on-prem/air-gapped).
Technical Governance: Define and maintain engineering standards, architecture guidelines, and code quality practices. Collaborate with other tech leads to ensure scalability, security, and compliance with policies and guardrails. Conduct deep technical reviews to ensure all implementations adhere to the approved system architecture
Cross-Team Alignment: Manage dependencies across internal and external teams. Lead coordination of milestones, risks, and change management to maintain synchronization across all partners.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as a senior engineering counterpart for client stakeholders, ensuring transparency, accountability, and clear communication on progress, blockers, and technical decisions.
Resource & Capacity Planning: Own capacity planning and workload distribution across engineering domains. Anticipate resource constraints, propose mitigation plans, and support staffing decisions.
Quality & Risk Management: Monitor engineering performance through metrics and KPIs. Identify risks early, ensure mitigation steps are tracked, and maintain quality assurance across all deliverables.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Promote automation, reusable components, and AI-assisted engineering practices. Encourage continuous improvement through lessons learned and engineering retrospectives.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Build and nurture a strong engineering culture. Provide mentorship to technical leads and senior engineers, fostering growth, ownership, and accountability.
