Roles & Responsibilities:
This is an individual contributor position. Expectations will be on the below lines:
• Contribute extensively to analysis, design, and development for major and dot
software releases
• Design and develop features for the Electron-based RoboHelp desktop application
• Build scalable and high-performance UI components using React
• Develop and integrate backend/services using Node.js and Java (Apache Tomcat)
• Collaborate with product marketing to evaluate and successfully implement new
features
• Work across the full stack ensuring seamless communication between desktop and
backend systems
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and startup time
• Be knowledgeable of cross-platform issues (Windows/macOS) and customer
requirements
• Contribute significantly towards architecture, design, and implementation of complex
features
• Review and provide feedback on features, technology, architecture, and design
decisions
Required Skills & Expertise:
• 5+ years of experience in technical roles, with proven experience across the product
life cycle
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern ES6+ features
• Hands-on experience with Electron.js for desktop application development
• Strong experience with React.js and component-based architecture
• Solid experience with Node.js
• Strong backend experience using Java and Apache Tomcat
• Experience with Webpack or similar build tools
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Good understanding of object-oriented design principles
• Experience with cross-platform desktop application development
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills
• Excellent computer science fundamentals
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working on large-scale desktop applications
• Knowledge of REST APIs and service-oriented architecture
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Experience with system-level integrations or native modules
