Description

This HW/SW company is looking for an MLOps Engineer to own and scale the machine learning infrastructure that powers our internal ecosystem.

While you will be working closely with state-of-the-art Large Language Models, the core of this role is operational: managing our AWS SageMaker pipelines and building bespoke AI tools that directly accelerate our marketing, digital, and engineering departments.

This role blends heavy MLOps infrastructure experience with the ability to deploy practical, internal-facing LLM solutions.

Requirements

• Deep, hands-on expertise with AWS machine learning infrastructure, specifically utilizing SageMaker.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience deploying LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar) into production environments.
• Proven track record of building, shipping, and maintaining internal tools or bespoke applications for cross-functional business teams.
• Solid understanding of LLMOps principles: post-training deployment, monitoring, NLP pipeline optimization, and managing model fine-tuning workflows.
• Clear grasp of cost, performance, and latency trade-offs when serving and choosing LLMs.
• Bonus: Familiarity with music production workflows and terminology to better understand the domain of the internal teams you are supporting.

  Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of dedicated experience in MLOps, Machine Learning Engineering, or DevOps with a heavy focus on production AI systems.

Job responsibilities

• ML Infrastructure & SageMaker: Own, scale, and maintain our machine learning pipelines in AWS, acting as the primary point of contact for SageMaker operations and model deployment.
• Internal AI Tooling: Lead the development of bespoke LLM-driven applications for internal customers, such as automated workflow assistants for the digital team, marketing deployment tools, and action-item generators.
• LLMOps & Deployment: Establish robust pipelines for model deployment, ensuring reliable, cost-effective, and low-latency serving of both large and edge-optimized LLMs.
• Cross-Functional Enablement: Partner directly with internal business and engineering teams to identify operational bottlenecks and build tailored AI solutions that enhance their daily workflows.
• System Optimization: Optimize natural language understanding and design robust prompt engineering strategies specifically for backend technical operations and internal data retrieval.
• Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor model performance in production, managing system health, usage costs, and performance trade-offs.
