Description

Our client is innovative manufacturer of medical devices in the United States which produces a devices and software applications.

At this project, you will have a great opportunity to be involved into the full development life cycle of medical software which is intended to help individuals by processing certain information taken from medical devices to identify health trends and to track daily activities. As additional there are opportunities to work with medical devices, in scope of end-to-end testing.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of embedded C development
• BLE communication experience
• UART / SPI / I²C driver coding
• IAR Embedded Workbench or similar IDE
• Basic understanding of secure boot / firmware update flows
• Git / version control
• RTOS task management basics

 

Nice to Have:

• Cellular modem integration experience
• Python / Bash scripts for test automation
• Knowledge of cryptography fundamentals (AES / SHA-256)
• Familiarity with FDA or medical device standards
• Exposure to hardware bring-up / solder debug / power profiling

Job responsibilities

• Implement firmware modules for BLE Patch and Gateway devices, focusing on sensor data flow, BLE communication, and secure update support.
• Develop C-based firmware for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
• Implement communication over BLE, UART, SPI and I²C.
• Add business logic: data buffering, measurement cycles, status LEDs, basic event handling.
• Support OTA update and firmware verification features.
• Assist with testing, debugging, and integration with mobile / cloud components.
