GlobalLogic’s Automotive department is excited to invite applications for the position of Middle+/Senior DevOps Engineer.

The goal of our project is to optimize and enhance our Automotive Solution by introducing new features. Our clients include Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs from Europe and the USA, and our development efforts focus on automotive solutions that will be integrated into the latest car models. Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Azure (preferred) or AWS
• Automation solutions: Jenkins, Zuul CI, SCM, Git, Terraform, Ansible
• Strong understanding of concepts: Infrastructure-as-Code, PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service), IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service)
• Network configuration and management in dynamic environments (TCP/IP stack) – middle-level knowledge is sufficient
• Basic scripting skills: PowerShell, Bash, Apache Groovy, Python
• Agile development methodologies: Scrum, Scaled Agile, Kanban
• Experience with Gerrit
• Technical engineering degree (preferably in software or systems engineering)
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles
• Strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and planning skills

Would be a plus:

• Experience in embedded (automotive) development
• Basic knowledge of automotive (or similar) functional safety standards (ISO 26262)
• Basic knowledge of any industry standard framework for system development processes (in automotive: ASPICE)
• C programming
• Matlab / Simulink
• MIL/HIL testing

Job responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Middle+/Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Agile (SAFe) project in the automotive domain.

• Develop and maintain software integration and test infrastructure, including build systems, continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines
• Create and configure end-to-end software build and deployment pipelines
• Automate build and deployment processes
• Demonstrate familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools for embedded software testing
• Work with the IT department to provision the required infrastructure or handle provisioning independently
• Apply a strong understanding of Agile principles and collaborate closely with development teams
• Participate in requirements gathering for CI-related tasks
• Develop solutions to enable a stable and high-performing automation framework, including working with infrastructure, Zuul/Jenkins, and components of the build system
• Develop an ISO 26262-qualified toolchain and development environment, supporting the flow from Matlab/Simulink to binary
