Description

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce DevOps Engineer (Copado) to manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Copado, Salesforce metadata deployments, and release management processes.

This role focuses on enabling efficient, high-quality deployments through automation, governance, and collaboration with development and QA teams. You will play a key role in improving code quality, managing environments, and ensuring smooth release cycles across multiple Salesforce instances.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with Copado CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DevOps processes
Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata structure and deployment lifecycle
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and conflict resolution
Knowledge of Apex unit testing and static code analysis tools (e.g., PMD)
Experience in data deployment and masking for test environments
Solid understanding of release management and DevOps best practices
Certifications (Preferred/Required)
Copado Consultant or Administrator Certification
Salesforce Administrator Certification (preferred)
Additional Skills (Nice-to-Have)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Familiarity with other DevOps or CI/CD tools
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Good communication and documentation skills

Job responsibilities

Job Responsibilities
CI/CD Pipeline Management
Administer and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Copado, including User Stories and Promotions
Manage complex deployment workflows across multiple Salesforce environments
Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot deployment issues
Version Control & Branching
Integrate and manage repositories within Copado
Implement and maintain effective branching strategies
Resolve merge conflicts to support parallel development
Quality Assurance & Governance
Configure Quality Gates using tools such as PMD for static code analysis
Integrate and enforce Apex unit testing standards
Improve code quality, maintain coverage, and ensure compliance with governance policies
Data Management
Execute sandbox data deployments for UAT and staging environments
Perform data masking to ensure secure and compliant test data
Utilize Copado Data Deploy or similar tools for data handling
Collaboration & Release Management
Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases
Support release planning, coordination, and execution
Maintain documentation for deployment processes, branching strategies, and quality controls
