Requirements

● Bachelors Degree, with at least 5+ year experience in DevOps
● Should have worked on various DevOps tools like: GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Ansible etc.
● Should have worked on various AWS Services -EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route53, ECS, ASG, Route53, SQS, VPC, etc.
● Have experience in CI/CD implementation (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions, etc..)
● Self-starter and ability to deliver under tight timelines
● Have experience with serverless architectures using Lambda, EventBridge, and API Gateway
● Have experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

Nice to have:
● Exposure to various tools like New Relic, ELK, Jira, confluence etc
● Prior experience in managing infrastructure for public facing web-applications.
● Basic Networking knowledge – VLAN, Subnet, VPC, etc.
● Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL).

Job responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions primarily on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance for automotive applications.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources efficiently.
• Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of automotive software components.
• Lead the containerization strategy using Docker, including the creation and management of immutable Docker images and registries.
• Establish and enforce best practices for version control and collaborative development using GitHub, including branching strategies and code reviews.
• Contribute to the architectural design of secure and resilient cloud environments, incorporating industry-standard security practices relevant to the automotive domain.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational efficiency for critical systems.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance the DevOps ecosystem and streamline development workflows.
• Monitor system performance, implement comprehensive logging and alerting solutions, and optimize resource utilization to manage operational costs effectively.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of applications into the production environment.
• Drive initiatives for automation across the software development lifecycle, from build to deployment and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures.
