Description
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead high-performing engineering teams and drive world-class software engineering practices, scalable architecture, and technology transformation initiatives, including AI adoption across the SDLC. This role combines deep technical expertise, architectural leadership, and organizational influence to deliver resilient, high-quality products at scale.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on expertise in building scalable systems.
- 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams in a product or platform engineering environment.
- Strong expertise in Java (J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture).
- Strong expertise in system architecture and design, including: Designing scalable, distributed, and resilient systems
- Applying architecture patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design
- Building high-availability, fault-tolerant, and performance-optimized systems
- Proven experience in designing and building distributed systems and RESTful APIs at scale.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native development (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and modern engineering toolchains.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and outcome-driven delivery models.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, GenAI tools, and their application in engineering workflows is highly desirable.

- Ensure systems are built for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Drive adoption of modern architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, API-first).
- Establish and enforce engineering standards, design principles, and code quality practices.

- Lead modernization initiatives
- Drive engineering productivity improvements through tools, frameworks, and automation.
- Champion adoption of AI-assisted development tools across the SDLC (design, coding, testing, documentation, operations).
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Influence senior stakeholders with data-driven insights and strong technical perspectives.
- Drive cross-team collaboration across distributed and cross-functional teams.
