Requirements
- Commercial experience in QA / Test Automation.
- Strong knowledge of Python and experience developing automated tests.
- Experience working with or contributing to custom automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of software testing principles, test design, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Experience testing systems involving both software and physical hardware.
- Ability to analyze logs, reproduce complex issues, and troubleshoot failures across multiple system components.
- Experience working with Linux-based environments.
- Good understanding of Git-based development workflows.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Ability to work directly with engineers and customer representatives in an international environment.
Job responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and execute automated test scenarios using Python.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of a custom test automation framework.
- Develop automated tests for hardware/software integrated systems.
- Perform end-to-end testing covering interactions between the physical medical device and cloud services.
- Validate device connectivity, data transfer, configuration, and system behavior across multiple components.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing.
- Analyze system and software requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases.
- Investigate failures across hardware, embedded software, application, and cloud layers.
- Work closely with developers, system engineers, and other QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.
- Maintain test documentation and support verification activities in a regulated medical-device environment.
- Participate in improving testability, automation coverage, and overall product quality.
