Description

The main essence of the project is to load and manage revenue statements from various digital streaming and EST providers.
The components of the project are:
– Prefect orchestrator (based on Docker);
– MS SQL DB Storage (connected to Power BI part);
– Web Server;
– Angular Front End;
– API;
– SharePoint;
– E-mail attachments, and manual file uploads.

In general, we are loading statements via API, email attachments, and manual file uploads. Files are loaded into the SharePoint site.
Prefect orchestration is used to run python that are processing files and/or calls API and loading data into the SQL Server database.
Reports are built in PowerBI on the top of the SQL Server.
Angular front end running on top of Node.JS is used for mapping and processing.
Prefect and node.js components are containerized.
There are also outbound connections from the SQL server where data is being exported to multiple destinations.

Components are built so we need to take over from a Support perspective and expansion. Long Term direction and architecture are being worked on.

Requirements

Mandatory skills:

• Good knowledge of Python
• 2+ years of experience
• Technical background, analytical mind with solid investigation skills
• Responsible and dedicated, motivated, team player.
• Fast learner and ability to self-learning/work independently.
• At least Intermediate English level.
• SVN, GIT knowledge
• REST
• JSON, YAML, XML.
• microservices knowledge; boto3, S3
• dataflow, data pipelines;
• DB knowledge, e.g. PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or IBM Cloudant;

Nice to have skills:

• Prefect Orchestrator
• pandas, numpy, dataframes, etc
• spark, pyspark
• Requests library
• Consul
• SQLAlchemy knowledge

Job responsibilities

• Product analysis and improvement
