Description
GlobalLogic is seeking a Software Engineer to join a dedicated team supporting a sophisticated medical technology platform. This role is ideal for a developer with a strong foundation in Vue.js who is also willing to contribute to backend services when needed. You will focus on day-to-day implementation across usability enhancements and tech debt remediation within a multi-region SaaS architecture.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: 2–4 years of experience in software development.
- Frontend Proficiency: Solid experience with Vue.js; familiarity with state management and modern frontend build tools is essential.
- Backend Awareness: Working knowledge of Python and Node.js; experience with AWS services is a plus.
- Execution Focus: Proven ability to handle day-to-day implementation tasks and pair with senior engineers on more complex tickets.
- Regulated Industry: Familiarity with or an interest in delivering software for the healthcare or medical device industry is highly preferred.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate within a distributed team environment.

Job responsibilities
- Frontend Development: Deliver high-quality UI components and navigation features using Vue.js (2 & 3).
- Backend Contribution: Support the development and maintenance of Python and Node.js services hosted on AWS.
- Usability Enhancements: Implement user-facing features
- Tech Debt Remediation: Assist in the migration from Vue 2 to Vue 3 and help resolve security findings.
- Quality & Compliance: Execute tasks under the guidance of lead engineers to ensure all changes meet the rigorous standards of regulated product delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in a dedicated engineering pod, working closely with senior developers and business analysts to meet product goals.
