Requirements
We are looking for a motivated, recent graduate who is eager to launch their career in the Cloud and DevOps space.
If you love automation, solving puzzles, and learning new technologies, you’ll fit right in!
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related engineering field (recent graduate).
- Linux Fundamentals: Solid foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems (command line navigation, file permissions, and basic scripting).
- Networking Basics: Understanding of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, subnets, and how the internet works.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Awareness: Academic exposure or personal project experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Version Control: Basic familiarity with GitHub or Git (cloning repositories, branching, committing, and pushing code).
- Mindset: A genuine passion for the DevOps philosophy, a strong desire to learn, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Job responsibilities
As a Trainee, you won’t be thrown into the deep end alone. You will work closely with senior engineers to learn the ropes, assist with daily operations, and gradually take on more ownership of our cloud infrastructure.
- Cloud Support: Assist in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure across AWS environments.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Learn and help write basic Terraform scripts to deploy and manage cloud resources safely and efficiently.
- CI/CD Pipeline Support: Assist in managing code repositories on GitHub and learn how automated deployment pipelines work.
- System Administration: Perform routine Linux administration tasks and help optimize system performance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for internal processes, setups, and troubleshooting steps.
- Continuous Learning: Actively participate in training sessions, shadow senior team members, and work toward relevant cloud certifications.
