Zaheer Allam

As Chief Customer Officer, Zaheer Allam is responsible for Business Development and Sales for all new verticals including internal business coming from all Hitachi Front Business Units. He is also responsible for new geos, GlobalLogic Japan, Australia, and the Middle East.

Zaheer has over 25 years of product engineering experience in the wireless telecommunications, automotive, and enterprise software industries where he has been a pioneer in conceptualizing, developing and delivering complex, commercially viable products. In his 10 years with GlobalLogic, Zaheer has held multiple executive roles, first as the Chief Delivery Officer responsible for all Engineering and Talent acquisition, and later as Chief Channel Officer, responsible for sales through the Private Equity (PE) channel. He was also the sales head of the Technology Business Unit.

Prior to joining GlobalLogic, Zaheer was Chief Product Officer at Polaris Wireless, a global provider of emergency call location and lawful location tracking, where he built and managed their global engineering and deployment teams. Before that, he was founder and Vice President of Engineering at Azaire Networks, a leader in the fixed mobile convergence space. He has also held various technical management positions at startups and large multinationals like Ericsson, Ricoh, Ford Motor Company, and Ricochet.

Zaheer earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Madras University, his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University. and his MBA from Santa Clara University. He has also been awarded nine patents in the field of broadband and communications. In his spare time, Zaheer enjoys jogging, running marathons, trekking and hiking, and writing poetry.
