Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Project Leader to join a project delivered in close collaboration with our client. The role combines strong technical expertise, stakeholder management skills, and agile product ownership capabilities.
The successful candidate will work closely with the client’s platform management, software development and verification teams, architects, test management, and project leadership. The main responsibility will be to ensure effective planning, coordination, transparency, and execution across multiple software programs and platform initiatives.
The project is part of a software platform organization that coordinates and supports multiple generic software programs and platform initiatives.
Requirements
Professional Experience
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Program Coordinator, or in a comparable role within a complex software development environment.
- Proven experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or comparable frameworks).
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
Technical Background
- Understanding of the software development ecosystem required to deliver production-grade software releases.
- Strong background in software development, preferably in complex embedded software systems.
- Good technical understanding of platform management and platform-based product development.
- Experience working with reference systems and system-level dependencies is highly desirable.
Personal Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational and facilitation skills.
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly in an evolving platform environment.
- Strong collaboration skills across software development, verification, testing, and project management functions.
Job responsibilities
- Own and maintain the platform backlog, including prioritization and refinement activities.
- Facilitate and coordinate cross-functional activities across the platform environment.
- Plan, monitor, and track sprint execution and delivery progress.
- Prepare sprint reports and management status updates.
- Define, maintain, and report relevant platform KPIs.
- Track and manage platform-related risks identified by development and verification teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Software Platform Manager on cross-program features and dependencies.
- Continuously monitor status, change requests, risks, and emerging issues in collaboration with:
-Software Architects
– Test Managers
– Test Leads
– Program Project Leads
- Consolidate information and provide transparent reporting to platform management.
- Facilitate communication and alignment across multiple organizations with different management approaches.
