Due to intensive growth, GlobalLogic Automotive department is glad to invite a Automotive C/C++ Embedded Engineer to become part of the GlobalLogic Automotive team.
We are looking for a professional C/C++ Embedded Engineer with experience on full software development life cycle.
Our customer is an international company, one of the largest Tier 1 vendors in the automotive industry. The Company is cooperating with the world’s biggest car manufacturers, providing them with high-quality, cutting-edge, and comprehensive automotive computing platforms.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
- Strong experience in C/C++ within development for Automotive Embedded systems, with ability to develop application software
- Hands-on experience in AD/ADAS or V2X, or Cross-domain vehicle application software development and integration
- Practical understanding of AD/ADAS sensor interfaces and pipelines, including camera, radar, lidar, ultrasonic, IMU, GPS/GNSS, image processing, image transfer, video input, and video output.
- Experience with container-based application deployment using Docker or equivalent container technologies.
- Experience with software platform intergration, integration testing, regression testingm full-load performance measurement, resource validation, and issue debugging on target hardware, benches and virtual environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub, automated builds, artifact generation, branch strategy, release baselines, configuration management, and quality gates.
- Deep understanding of SDV Architecture, Zonal Networks, High-Performance Central Compute modules, Automated Driving, AI, Machine Learning, Perception modules, connected mobility and OTA updates
- Working knowledge of automotive SoC platforms and high-performance compute environments, including CPU/GPU/NPU, accelerators, IPC, memory, communication interfaces, and performance constraints.
- Working knowledge of vehicle communication protocols and interfaces such as CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP, DoIP, SPI, PCIe, UART, XCP, and USB.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills (English) and teamwork attitude
Nice to have:
– Understanding of automotive standards and processes including ASPICE, ISO26262, SOTIF, MISRA, cybersecurity, SBOM, and OTA software updates concepts.
– Ability to create softwaer requirements, high-level software architecture, feature interface definitions, integration test plans, and techical documentation.
– ability to work independently, collaborate accross software, hardware and product teams, and provide guidance to build in-house capability
Job responsibilities
- Develop automotive application software for validating platform software functionality.
- Contribute significantly to the architectural design and evolution of embedded software platforms.
- Deconstruct and simplify complex build systems, including Make and CMake, to improve development efficiency.
- Drive the integration and testing of software modules on embedded Linux platforms.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for embedded software development, particularly for safety-critical devices.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, offering constructive feedback to maintain high code quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to embedded software, hardware interaction, and system performance.
- Collaborate with Client to define requirements, evaluate technical feasibility, and deliver innovative solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for software designs, implementations, and testing procedures.
