Description
The Client is the UK’s leading fee-free mortgage broker. Together with Globallogic, they are embarking on a significant digital transformation since they have recently acquired the source code for a market-leading Mortgage Management COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) system and now are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to lead the charge in customising, deploying, and scaling this platform to become our next-generation CRM. It is a high-impact project to migrate our entire broker network and lead pipeline onto a high-throughput, modern .NET 8 architecture hosted entirely on Azure.
Requirements
- Expertise in .NET 8, C#, ASP.NET MVC
- Hands on Azure (Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage)
- SQL Server / relational databases
- Web Services, APIs, microservices
- Azure DevOps fundamentals and understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Automated testing (unit testing, mocking)
- Agile / Scrum development practices
- Good level of English
Nice to have
- Frontend fundamentals (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS)

Job responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy scalable backend systems for a new CRM platform
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers
- Champion code quality through clean code, design patterns, reviews and testing
- Collaborate with product, QA, and other engineering teams
- Participate in project planning, estimation and progress tracking
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Produce clear technical documentation for designs, APIs and processes
