Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements:
What we’re looking for:
- BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- At least 3+ years of experience in software development
- C++ is required, including object-oriented development skills and robust coding practices
- Knowledge and experience with Qt framework (frontend and backend)
- Understanding of web development, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, REST and WebSocket
- Ability to work in a cross-platform development environment.
- Development experience in Windows and Macintosh OS platforms.
- Ability to work in a multi-site distributed team and on a cross-platform development environment.
- Good level of English (written and spoken) is required as this position involves direct communication with the US-based customer
- Highly motivated and energetic team member.
- Be a quick learner
Nice to have:
- Ability to work with large applications involving the writing of significant new code, debug complex software systems, as well as utilizing existing code and libraries
- Understanding of refactoring techniques
- Knowledge in TDD, unit testing, automation testing
- Experience with development using Agile (Scrum)
Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a talented, creative and enthusiastic Middle C++/Qt engineer. To join our high-performing team, you must have an understanding of software engineering and object-oriented development techniques, experience in UI and backend development in Qt, the ability to create, debug, and maintain bulletproof C++/Qt code both for Mac and Windows. An eye for detail, extremely high standards with respect to software quality and reliability, and a passion for media related product development.
As a Middle C++/Qt engineer, you will work on the clientLink application. You will be developing new functionality, as well as fixing issues, supporting and improving automated tests coverage. Our team is responsible for all aspects of user interface, event processing, collecting and processing licensing data.
