Description:
The client is a company that develops main application processors for embedded systems that serve as a vision processor for smartphones, augmented and virtual reality devices, drones, and robots.
The successful candidate will get a chance to work on cutting-edge embedded technologies with computer vision capabilities.
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced BSP developer for the new project. BSP will be based on Yocto Linux for the main application processor of embedded systems, which will have cameras and area mapping responsibilities or can be used as an additional processor to enable such capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
- Experience with Embedded software development, integration, debugging.
- Experience with C/C++ programming.
- Experience with Linux driver development
- Excellent issue triage and Debugging skills
- Good Communication and Excellent Teamwork skills.
- Quick Adaptability to work with new technologies.
- Experience with Yocto
- Experience with V4l2 and GStreamer
Would be a plus:
- Experience with camera integration (including libcamera)
- Experience with Robotic Operation System
- Experience with computer vision
- Experience with aerial mapping technologies
- Experience with ARM CoreSight
Job Responsibilities:
As part of the new team, your responsibilities will be:
- Setting up a Yocto-based environment for the BSP
- Participate in architecture design and implementation
- Writing drivers from scratch
- Integrate and configure existing drivers and solutions from the customer or 3rd-party vendor
- Lead the team of Linux kernel and user-space developers
- Direct communication with the customer
- Be a part of a Globallogic team of successful professionals
