Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Product Designer with a strong background in user experience (UX) design to work for one of our clients within the Automotive industry with a location in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Requirements:
- University degree in Transportation design or Industrial/Product Design
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive design
- English, spoken and written
- Strong user researcher with good sketch ability
- Skills using industry-leading 3D tools such as: Blender (preferred), Maya, Alias, Unity3D and Keyshot.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Job Responsibilities:
As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in creating products that are not only visually appealing but also prioritize the user and usability at every step of the design process.
– Conduct user research and gather insights to inform product design
– Create 2D and 3D sketches, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity visual designs for product features
– Apply UX principles to design user-centered products that meet the needs and wants of our target audience
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design concepts align with business goals and customer needs
– Present design solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design software andtechnologies
– Ensure product designs are user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing and meet accessibility standards
