VOS Environment Configuration Engineer IRC219399

Job Responsibilities:

– Knowledge acquisition: learn assigned product to smallest details, become a good expert in the product
– Create/update product’s macros/utilities for each release upgrade for the Stratus servers.
– Create/update product’s based macros/utilities to perform new environment creation, pre-cut data synchronization between old & new env, and cut live migration tools.
– Environment support (Internal): Monitor and troubleshoot environment health, Update environments, Create new environments, Run builds, and Create and install patches.
– Troubleshoot customer’s Installation & Deployment or environment issues
– Installation, upgrades, and environment issues (internal and Customer footprint)
– Define and maintain the third-party SE list for a release
– Update and manage third-party software and licensing
– Manage and ensure internal environments are set up including third-party software.
– Create Installation and Release Content Letter documentation.
