These steps include, identifying  the problem and the data that will need to be analyzed, collecting, or mining, and processing, or scrubbing, the data, performing a data analysis, modeling the data, evaluating, or interpreting, the data, deploying a data model, and then monitoring and maintaining the data model. Once this lifecycle is complete, companies can use the results to create actionable plans.
