Description:

Our client is world-leading provider of telecom equipment, solutions and services to mobile and fixed network operators and telecom providers all over the world.

Requirements:

  • minimum Master’s level majored in Computer Science or Engineering (IT, Telecom)
  • minimum 6+ years experience in programming
  • proven experience in leadership roles within a technical environment
  • strong understanding of project domains and workflows
  • excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • ability to develop and implement onboarding training plans
  • professional experience in backend software development using Java
  • professional experience in Javascript
  • experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes
  • Springboot
  • proficiency in building microservices-based architecture.
  • understanding of Helm, FluxCD (for micro-service deployment) and Terraform (for infrastructure deployment, currently in Azure)
  • 4G/5G Core development experience is a plus
  • understanding of 3GPP specifications is a plus

Position Qualifications:

  • understanding Agile development methodologies e.g. test driven development, continuous integration, code coverage, code analysis, etc.
  • demonstrated ability to develop and deliver complex software projects
  • effective interpersonal communication skills in a highly collaborative team environment
  • self-directed work style, provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experience professional staff

Job Responsibilities:

  • Non-functional requirements decision making;
  • Integration decision making;
  • Security decision making;
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend microservices using Java, following best practices and design patterns.

Also, we need a leader who can devise a comprehensive training plan to familiarize new engineers with client`s projects and workflows.
In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding approximately 40 new team members, including both internal and partner resources.
Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and mentorship opportunities.
